Wiretap's Ice Cubic [ITX Project]

That looks great! Maybe I missed something, but where's the intake?
There is no intake really. The top fan just exhausts hot air. Of course there is some fresh air that enters the case, through little cracks and holes. (ie. the front panel cutouts, i/o shield holes, etc). Heat isn't a problem though, because it hardly even gets warm with the 45w processor.

I kind of had figured as such; have you considered maybe a couple slots underneath the motherboard? There should be enough room for airflow, and it would keep the board nice and cool.

Nice. Like an upgraded Mini but much better. :)

You really like that mobo. Any plans to try out one of Intel's G45FCs?

There's no need... it runs cool already.

My bandwidth resets today. I don't like flickr, and I'm not paying for image hosting.

w1retap, do you ever use fileshack? I know you said you are not paying for hosting but, Fileshack offeres shackspace with thier $6.95 a month mercury service which will get you max bandwidth downloads and no cap on bandwith on shared stuff online. You get 1gb to do with as you please. http://nlancaster.shackspace.com/ That is my shackspace folder. I think it is a really good deal. With my Verizon Fios I get 1.8-1.9 Megabyte persecond downloads from fileshack with thier service.

I have more than 200 photos.. and I'm not paying for anything. Is it that hard to understand?

Nice job, I don't like the apple-type look though... It still looks pretty good... :)
How quiet is that NT07 [the low profile HSF]? Is it really as quiet as they say?

no risk of fire with the MDF should sparks fly somehow? or is it flame retardant or treated MDF?

I really hope you are just joking.. rofl.

Globs of molten metal are flying all over the place inside my case. I actually treated it with asbestos before I built it so it's fire resistant.

you have never seen a motherboard catch fire before? i had one burn for a good 10 seconds, and wood burns faster ;)

I'm not really worried about spontaneously combusting motherboards.

I'd be with a quad core Extreme processor and CrossfireX with two 4870X2s :p
