Hello, I'm a newb, first of all just let me say hi.

Now, I just purchased the Gameshark 2.4Ghz wireless controller for Xbox. So I put the batteries in, plug the receiver into the box and I thought I was good to go. But the game boots up, and nothing is working. Also, the little green led on the side of the receiver blinks when the box is on. Is there any kind of setup I missed? Anything I need to buy extra? It looks like the receiver is supposed to have a device inserted in it, but nothing else came with the package.

Is there a connect button on the controller itself you need to push? I know the logitech ps2 wireless wouldn't connect at times unless you physically pushed the connect button.

Thank you, there was a little on/off switch at the bottom of the controller that was hardly visible. It works now

Glad you've got it sorted out,
I've got the same joypad (although here in the UK it's a Mad Catz), the socket on the reciever is the same as the sockets on a normal joypad which are for memory cards or XBL headsets, although plugging a headset into that defeats the purpose of going wireless :)
