I'm looking to get a headset as I disturb my gf when watching tv/gaming on my 42in plasma. I considered wireless but don't want to spend a lot regardless. The egg has these two that caught my eye.

I found this headset too:

So I'm undecided. Obviously if I go wired the cord needs to be like 10ft at least. Not sure if I can pick up an extension.

I did a quick search and didn't really find a lot of info on this forum. Let me know if I should post in another section. Thanks.

I have the Sennheiser RS-116s. I've never heard any high end phones so I can't say how these compare, but the sound quality is good by my standards. Range is good, and battery life really surprised me. Mine don't have a charging cradle, they take a pair of AAAs.

Yes you can. Radioshack has something on the shelf that you can string together. The hi-end folks will murder you for it though.

I hear the name Sennheiser thrown around a lot here in terms of headphones. I've not heard them so I can't tell you if you'll like them. I happen to like these:

And for airplane rides - these:

Make life less stressful.

I'm no headphone guru, and I know both of those are consumer garbage, but they meet my needs.

I think I'll try the Sennheiser HD202's first and if the cord becomes a problem try a wireless set.

Thanks.
