Windows XP Home repair install

Hey..

About to do a repair install on my roomates laptop...

Anyone know if I'll have to reinstall Office once I am done?

I don't have the CD's for it

If I remember correctly, it'll only replace the system files. Back up any important data just incase, but no, you shouldn't have to reinstall Office. Your installed apps should be ok.

You won't have to re-install anything. But, it is a good idea to re-run Windows Update. If the box is updated to SP2, then you should use an XP Home CD with SP2 slipstreamed in.
