Windows Vista And Active Directory!

yes, you can with Pro, Ult, or Ent.

You'll also have access to xp pro, and Vista Business, which can both join a domain

Wait, so how are you running Active Directory if you can't afford a pro OS let alone a server OS? :p

(I did the same thing when I was 14, I'm not condemning at all... just saying. It's how you learn, legal or .... not so legal.)

ever heard of 180 day trial versions.... they do exist.

you can:

a. rebuild the servers for practice
b. purchase the software and the CALs and be legal
c. use a "warez" copy in its place

... just going to chip in here and saying that warezed OS tend to be a bad idea.
Unless you know where to find a clean copy.

To be honest, I have tried to crack Server 2008 (back before I had gotten technet) and I couldn't find a good way to do it. It was quite difficult and I never could get it done. 180 days is 6 months, so that's not that bad if you have to reload it. Gives you practice.

Just to add saving up for a Technet or whatever subscription is your best bet if you're going to want to do a lot of learning or practice. I've had either an MSDN Universal or Technet subscription for about a decade and they are worth their weight in gold.

What is a MSDN Universal?

I was saying there are 180 day trials people can get for free and implying that not everyone is a pirate,i guess they don't teach reading comprehension in school anymore either.
