Windows Mobile On The iPhone

<3 my tilt with a custom WM 6.1 OS on it. Very fast and the battery life isn't bad. The HTC Touch Pro is very tempting and should be coming to AT&T soon :) And for one I am actually pretty satisfied with AT&T. Tons of people don't like 'em, and I will admit I liked them more before Cingular purchased 'em, but still I like AT&T better than some other phone companies out there (especially anything CDMA).

I think you've got that backwards.. AT&T acquired Cingular.

Try to sort this one out....

Formerly a joint venture between SBC Communications and BellSouth, Cingular Wireless soon acquired the old AT&T Wireless; SBC later acquired the original AT&T and re-branded as "the new AT&T". Cingular became wholly-owned by the new AT&T in December 2006 as a result of AT&T's acquisition of BellSouth.

No, he was right.

I highlighted the key part.
Cingular bought ATT Wireless. Period.

Or to simplify...
SBC (Cingular) bought ATT Wireless. Later, SBC acquired ATT, and at that point they went ahead and just changed the name to ATT again...

But once more: Cingular bought ATT.

it would be kinda pointless, unless your one of those people who is obsessed with windows but has the iphone because Microsoft has not yet made something that it can compete with. (Such as how the iPod and Zune are competitors)

We should buy a Ferrari and replace its engine with a hamster wheel while we're at it.
