I purcahsed a new 160GB Maxtor SATA drive. I can see it in the bios, but not in windows. When I go to disk management, doesnt show anything. When I try to install new hardware, doesnt find anything.

Anyone know why it wouldnt work in windows?

Do you have drivers for the sata controller it's on (if it's the system in sig, see this (holy cow, 15.7 MB?)? You might also try the diagnostic thingy.

I've got two other drives on the same controller without issue (one of them happens to be the exact same drive

Ill give that diagnosis thing a wirl though.

EDIT: :( @ being a bootable ISO. Not stopping my BFMEII Demo... been at it for hours. Ill try that out later.
