This happens twice back to back. I got Windows 7 Pro unable to restart error. Then it goes to the default of "Start win. normally" or "begin repair" (recommended). So after it did that last night, I was able to restart.

But I didn't realize what causes it the 1st time, so I re-install those 4 TTF fonts, they are fonts dated 2007, those 4 fonts works just fine just XP Pro for years

I never heard of TTF can make a OS unable to start.

Then this morning, when I restart, same error. Windows 7 then remove those 4 fonts, and the OS can now re-start properly.

The 4 fonts are : Misslegatees, Zapfino Linotype 1 & 2,
Love Light

How can TTF locks up the OS like this?

thats weird, but i had a similar problem with OTF fonts in XP the other day, cant install them with the /3GB switch in the boot.ini file

enabled apps to use 3GB memory in 32bit, or something like that I guess...that file isnt on Vista/7 tho
