It must take an awful lot to satisfy MS if my i7 930 Oc'd to 4.0ghz only gets a 7.7 out of 7.9. I understand there is faster but WTF, how isn't a i7 @ 4ghz a prefect user experience? What do I have to do, buy a six core socket 1366 i7 just to hit 7.9? (No, I'm serious...:D)

Don't worry about it. Outside of MS themselves, no one knows exactly the metric that MS uses for the WEI score.

So unless you're really really in love with the WEI, don't worry about it.

I never cared until I seen that all of mine are now 7.9 except the CPU, so it got me thinking and my conclusion was "WTF MS". :D
 
The WEI is indeed one obscure beast...

May I ask what is that skin you are using? It looks nice.
