Hello,

I need a little help with the following issue:

I had installed Win7 64 on a RAID 0 SSD. Worked perfectly.
I bought a new SSD, used Samsung Data Migration to mirror my win7 to the new SSD.
Windows works well.
I went into BIOS to change the mode from RAID to AHCI.
After windows logo shows for a couple seconds, i get a blue screen that lasts for a fraction of time and it automatically reboots. I booted in safe mode, still error.
I tried to change to IDE as well, same problem.
If i change back to RAID, OS works, no problem.

Any ideas? Maybe there is a regedit option i can use to get around this problem, i really want to change to AHCI now that i don't have a RAID anymore, it boots faster.

PC specs:
Gigabyte EX58-Extreme
Intel i7 920
Corsair Dominator 6GB
EVGA 285 GTX
Samsung 850 Pro 256GB (used to be 2x Corsair Force F60)

Thanks in advance

Your PC is using the raid driver to load the OS, youd have to get it to stop loading the raid driver and use the AHCI one, not sure how easy it is to do that after the OS is install
