Will this PS work with my system?

Looking at the Corsair 850HX

Seems like it is a highly recommended PS with the option of running three video cards with 6 x 6+2-pin PCIe connectors. I plan to run 2 x 8570 cards and one 8800 for PhysX. My main concern is that my motherboard (EVGA X58 Classified) has 2 x 8-Pin EPS 12V connectors and this PS only has 1 x 8-Pin EPS 12V. What is the drawback of only using one? Is there a better option for a PS? This one just seemed like the best balance of price and performance.

Edit: I was also looking at the SeaSonic X750 but it only has 4 x 6+2-pin PCIe connectors, but maybe I could use the 4-pin 12V to 6-pin PCIe convertors that come with video cards for the 8800? Might be pushing it for juice though.

There's no way that mobo won't run without two 8-pin 12V connectors, considering I don't know of any PSUs that have two. Even a 750Watt PSU would power that setup with no problem. You can run Tri-SLI of GTX285s without nearly hitting 700 watts.

What effect will running only one 12V connector have on overclocking my i920, if any?

There's a slightly possibility that your overclocking might be a bit more unstable and not as high due to the mobo not getting enough power via that 2nd EPS12V connector.

Is there a PS that is generally recommended as one of the few top picks to get?

The only consumer grade PSU off the top of my head that has 2 x EPS12V connectors is this:
$240 - Corsair 1000HX Modular PSU

You absolutely do not need a second EPS12V connector for the Classified motherboard, and the only time you MAY see a difference (and I stress that word because it's still not that likely) is if you plan on doing extreme overclocking using sub-ambient cooling. The HX850 will be fine for your PC.

Thank you for all of your input. I ended up going with the SeaSonic X750. It will support both of my 8570s and it has 2 x 8-pin EPS12V connectors. Plus the 80+ gold certification and solid reviews swayed me. Worst case scenario is that I can't use the 8800 for PhysX, but I can live without it if necessary.
