will these barbs work fine with the MCR220. I ordered them by mistake not noting the thread type. i tested them and they screw into the radiator very easy but the thread is not super tight until you screw it completely down? Should I be worried.

If these arent the right type, what barbs do I get. Which ones from jab-tech or simliar site do I need?

thanks

NO those are european thread, they will leak no matter how tight you screw them on.

you need 3/8" NPT male hose barb. good news is NPT is US standard plumbing threads any good hardware store is likely to have one, lowes does I know for a fact. in brass or plastic.

Now fancy high flow ones, little harder to find. I couldnt.

unsolicited 2 cents, fancy ones look little nicer but if your worried bout flow, dont, not with 1/2 id tubing, barbs are normally the last worry, the rad will have 100 times the flow restriction of the difference in some high flow barb vs a hardware store barb.

While you're at it, get some Teflon sealing tape. Because you never know.
