So ive got this case Antec Twelve Hundred V3 Black Steel ATX Full Tower Unbeatable Gaming Case-Newegg.com

I have an extra fan inside where one of the hdd bays is its an option with the case and i like it for the cooling of the video card.

I dont know if adding a new video card with 3 fans on the video card will fit can anyone help me to determine if it will fit or not. My 2 fan amd r9 390 msi version fits but just barely. Would it fit if i removed the front internal fan thats an option?

Tankies in advanced

I was looking at this video card to purchase GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 DirectX 12 GV-N1070G1 GAMING-8GD 8GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Video Card - Newegg.com

I used to own the original Antec 1200 case way back in the day when DFI Street was still around. Was a damn nice case.

Regarding your question, the length of the video card is 11.26 inches. Grab a tape measure and measure the distance between the rear slots to the front of the fan on the HDD bay. If video card is longer you'll need to remove the fan.

the length of the video card is 11.26 inches is that my msi r9 390 you mean in lenght or the new 1070?

Are you kidding? Not only can you simply google that, it says 11.26" x 4.53" right there in the specs in your own link.

there is NO link here for a AMD msi brand r9 390 sir............nvidia 1070 yes, r9 390 NO.......i still dont see where it says the length of ANY video card in the specs

Lol are you blind? Right there in the specs for the card you linked it says what I copied and pasted. And same goes for the MSI 390 where right there in the specs on newegg it says 10.91" x 5.08".

Antec 1200's bring back memories. Had problems with long cards and when they did fit, the hard drive slot directly after the card could not fit so you had to route the sata/power cables to accommodate either top or bottom hard drive space from the graphics card slot. Was a PITA at times on different builds but the 1200 was a case too tall and too slim.
