You knew it was only a matter of time before the Will It Blend people got their hands on an iPad! I guess maybe I was a little premature in declaring that other video as “iPad video of the day.” Thanks to [H] forum member “evildre” for the link.
 
They should take the leftover bits in a bag to a Apple store and ask if it's still under warranty or if they can get a refund back LOL. Just to see the look on the employees face would be priceless.
 
Tom Dickson gets better and better as he does more of these videos. Especially the editors (I love the slow motion "NOOOOO" while Tom breaks the iPad in two).

Ah. Good times.

That cannot be good to breathe in, and I cannot believe he did that with the battery still in it.
 
Love that blender, but I see that at costco being pawned off all the time and I can not see spending $400 for a fucking blender.
 
What's impressive is that you can clearly see the LCD still working, even showing up the virtual keyboard even when the iPad start to bend from the pounding....

Apple replaced two of my iphones (yes two) I am sure they cover blender damage...

Lol, I'm sure he would, but in most civilized societies I believe you get in trouble for that . . . ;) (I guess we'll never know).
 
he should start drinking everything he blends. ratings would soar!
 
Cheating with breaking the ipad in half. He needs a bigger container for the blender.

Anyone else find it ironic that this thread is full of nothing but praise for the "senseless destruction" of the ipad yet the above thread about the ipad vs the bat is filled with nothing but criticism?
Just a little observation.

not senseless destruction.. amusing destruction. The bat was a crude show that catered to the lowest common denominator. The blending was a bit more middle-upper class kind of entertainment.

or something like that. blending was cooler than beating.

Worth every penny. I've owned one for about 18 months, best goddamn blender in the world. Making a smoothie? To hell with ice, I drop frozen strawberries in there and they are liquified in about 2 seconds, it even pulverizes the seeds. I made a Dutch Apple shake by adding a slice of dutch apple pie, and several scopes of ice cream, a few seconds later, the best damn shake I'd ever had.

My sister came to visit and was so impressed she bought one too.

Last winter, my neighbor bought an electric snow blower. He was showing it to me and I took a look at the data plate, it had a 12amp motor. I was like "Dude, my blender is more powerful than this" :D
