Will a 5870x2 have microstutter?

The problem is most people don't know what micro stutter is. There will always be micro stutter with multi-GPU configurations until someone implements a controlleror buffer to regulate frame distribution. It will exist no matter what. Every setup in Multi=GPU will experience until this is finally addressed. Period.

I would've thought that would have been addressed by now but apparently no on is interested in addressing micro stutter.

5870CF, 5850CF still exists - there is no reason to believe its being fixed with Hemlock.

I prefer a single fastest GPU as microstutter makes high fps seem like they are alot less, gameplay in my perception with multi GPU is choppy. It ruins the gaming experience for me and after multi attempts with multi GPU solutions I'm much happer with the single fastest GPU I can get.

Does a dual GPU card have the same microstutter issues that Crossfire/SLI single GPU cards have?
yes

On some games yes, you will notice it. Like fallout 3 for instance with HDR turned on. There's some games where it's more noticeable.

Are you sure its microstutter or could it just be the game slowing due to low memory, etc?

There's a difference between low framerate and microstutter. I used to play WoW and run fraps and at a steady 90 FPS, running my character around the screen would feel like a jittery mess, although the measured FPS never dipped. It's noticeable depending on the game. Some games just don't play well with multiple GPUs.

thought wow dont even work in multi-GPU

Arn't you also the poster that tried to ridducle the concept of "microstuttering"?

micro-stuttering is unnoticeable.

but "stuttering" is..

people mistaken it for a long time and still do, and claim stuttering == micro-stuttering..

for some specific games like Crysis Warhead, its pure engine problem. but some people think its micro-stuttering. which is very unlikely.

and I doubt some people even know what micro-stuttering really looks and feels like..
I have experience through 3870X2/9800GX2, where the real micro-stuttering actually appear first.

You think a lot things, far from all your "beliefs" are true...take notice:

Anyone have Idea why i score like 60 fps with 2x 5870 in Batman aa? can someone with crossfire report his (ingame fps with 2x5870 or 1 @1920x1200 very high settings) Strange thing is that i see the same fps in Arma 2, also the the game menu has no AA or AF options and the there is tons of jaggies everywhere CCC settings/AA ain't work also! Both of the build in game benchmarks from Batman & Arma 2 are missing in top of that...And i'm fairly sure both of my card are working.

P.S. sorry for offtopic.

All games limited to 60fps sounds like vsync is enabled.
