Just started OC'ing my new build (see below) last night and noticed that Real Temp 3.40 is consistently reporting my core temperatures as 15C higher than Easy Tune (the overclocking/monitoring utility that comes with Gigabyte boards). Which is more accurate? My brain says I should believe Real Temp (showing ~80C max), but I'm to the point where every degree counts and I really want to believe the Easy Tune numbers (65C max)
. This is OC'ed to 4.15ghz at 1.385 volts (so far).
Has anyone had much experience with Gigabyte Easy Tune and know if the temps it reports are accurate, or way off?
System Highlights:
Core I7-930 (D0)
Corsair H50 cooler w/monster 150cfm 120mm fan
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
Crucial Ballistix 1600, 6gb
XFX 5870
Corsair HX1000 PSU
