Which heat up worst, the AMD X2 3800+ (Socket 939) or the Pentium 4 HT 540 ?
I got an old computer with a P4HT 540 processor, which will be sent to a South East Asian school for homeless children (most likely will be in either Philippines or Taiwan).
But I'm concerned about temperatures. Possible average room temperature in those asian countries is around like 35C. Currently my room temperature averages at 25C, and processor is running loaded at 68C and idle 52. So I can't really imagine this being out there running well.
If so, all I have to change is just the Mobo and the CPU, and just have Windows XP reactivated for it (if needed).
