Thermaltake TRX-1200M - $199.99
Antec Truepower Quattro 1200W - $211.77
Enermax EGX1250EWT Sgalaxy Evo 1250W - $245.16
Other?

The reason I want 1000W+ is because I don't want to upgrade this in at least 3 years, while ill be upgrading other stuff.

But what will you be upgrading to, and what is your current system? Most people who run single GPU systems will only run single GPU. Most people who run SLI will only run SLI. This trend is true at least 80-90% of the time. And they will only upgrade to something in the same/similar price/wattage range.

Im going to build a system from scratch, and this is one of the parts i wont be upgrading no matter what I throw at it. I could just buy an 850W now and upgrade later IF I need to, but for just around $40-$50 bucks more I could go straight to a 1200W and not have to upgrade in case I need more Ws.
Who knows, in the future I might be going SLI, crossfire, tri-fire, quad-fire. There's no way to know.

And I bet you by the time you get to tri-fire, your computer is old news :p

Most tri-GPU systems will not require more than 1000 watts. I say most because there are systems with massive amounts of hard drives, or dual CPU systems, but that's probably out of your expense range.

If you want to get a good 1200 watt now, look at the HCP 1200, AX1200, Enermax MaxRevo 1350, or Platimax 1200. Don't go cheaping out on a lower end 1200 watt if you're really looking for something that will last.

Otherwise, get an 850 watt. It'll take care of any dual-GPU system, and can handle many tri-GPU systems.

HX850, TX850 V2, HCP 850, XFX Pro 850 are the ones that come to mind.

Actually, the HCP 850 for $150 on Newegg right now is a really good deal.

The PC Power&Cooling Silencer 910w for $100 is another good deal, and a good power supply. However, that 80mm fan can be loud once you start loading it.

HCP850 if they're about the same price. The HCP 850 is a much better PSU than the HX 850.

Also, you can look at the AX850.

But you really should have a clear idea of what you want to do with your computer and what you'll be putting in it before picking out a power supply.

I wont be buying it now, I'll buy everything together once I have made my final decision on what I'm going to buy.

It will cost me $162.12 after price matching DirectCanada.com's $169.69 price.

So its either AX850 for $162, or an HCP850 for $154 (Already excluded HX850 for $159.99 since you said HCP is much better, yet a little cheaper)

HCP 850 is better than the AX850. Marginally better, but still better. It's probably the best 850 watt you can buy at the moment.

In that case I stand corrected. But the HCP850 is your best bang for buck at the moment.

Hey! Thanks for the tip on that PC P&C 910w. I just snagged one for my BF3 build.

I have a PC P&C Silencer 550 in my current PC and it's dead quiet. I would expect the 910w to be the same.

Actually, check out JonnyGuru's review. He said it becomes audible at about half load, and gets really loud at full load.

Really loud at full load AND high temp. Who has their PC in a room that is that hot? 44C is cooking... 111F. Good thing is though, that at even that high of temperature, it ran even better than at normal room temp.

I have been running this Silencer 910w for a couple of weeks now and it's been pretty quiet. To be honest though, I really am not pushing it hard at all, and their are other things in my PC that are loud that would drown it out. Also, with fall here and I not wanting to run the furnace yet, my house temps are pretty tame.... in the mid to low 60's.
