i have a 2.06 2600 amd and my brother has a 2.66 celeron?

Celerons, except for a few select circumstances mainly from the P2 era, have always sucked for gaming. Your 2600 would be considerably faster

Yep 2600. I made the mistake of building a Semi-Gamer Celeron rig, I regret it to this day.

i cant believe any hasnt said look at the PR number, its there for something. the 2600 is to compete with p4's with full cache, not bastardized prescott cores with 256k cache.

Yeah but PR numbers often = confusing.
Is a Athlon (or Sempron) 3000+ faster than a A64 2800+?
Is a X2 3800+ slower than a single 4000+?
