Which BFG GeForce 6800 GT OC?

Hello, I am looking at (2) BFG GeForce 6800 GT OC's on ZipZoomFly's site #1 and #2 I believe that the only difference between the 2 is that one comes with Doom III and the other dose not. I am set to buy this card I just want to make sure that I am not missing anything. If that’s the case I am sure that I can find someone to buy Doom for $20 and make $10 in the process :p

The one w/ Doom3 is $10 more, not $20. $429.99 vs. $439.99. Even if you have the game get it and sell it, you could make a few bucks.
 
Get the one with Doom 3 - there's somewhat of a backlash against the game, but it's still well worth a go - especially at 1600x1200 that the GT OC will run it at.

Also - buy it very, very quickly - the one without Doom 3 has already gone out of stock.
 
I know your ordering online, but if you can, try and get the 6800gt with the single reference fan. I think BFG is starting to re-release the single fan version over the dual fan one. I've had both, and the dual fan one runs 10C hotter then the single fan reference design.
 
yes most deffinately get the single fan version if you can. If not get a NV5 silencer. A guy I work with got the dual fan one and it ran 10c higher than my single fan one as well before he water cooled it.
 
Thanks for the advice; :D I will definitely look for the single fan version. My 8500 is getting kind of tired :p











p.s. I had DOOM III paid for at EB 8 months before it came out, that game is the sole reason that I am getting this card ;) its just kind of rough on the good old 8500, get the amazing VPU errors occasionally in PainKiller, Far Cry, and DOOM3.
 
I got mine with the Doom3 bundle and it is a single fan version so you might get the same. However, a phone call to check would help making sure which one is the best to get.
