Ran out of PVC tubing and had to get some from Home Depot -- I figured this to be my problem, as the Home Depot tubing is discoloring. I'm running 50/50 premixed pink coolant with purple UV dye.


Should I replace all of the tubing with some good stuff, and clean my blocks? If so, what is considered good tubing?

looks like the tubing isn't really designed for the heat, i'd guess it'll leech into the liquid some too over time and harden up/dry out. That said it may not. Being cheap I'd run it and check the line every month or so and if it starts to get hard or if the discoloration annoys you I'd replace it.

I'm just going to replace the tubing since I'm going to be adding 90 degree fittings. I don't like the white goo forming in my reservoir, I can only imagine what the micro channels in my blocks are looking like. Do you have any recommendations on decent tubing? Loop temps never exceed 50c while mining/gaming.
 
The white stuff that leeches out of cheaper types of plastic tubing is supposedly a plasticizer, used to keep the tubing flexible. The most effective means of fixing this is to just replace the tubing with the good kind that is specifically made for this application. I've had good results with Primochill.

I personally use tygon tubing, no issues with it so far.
