Whats counter strike??

I never played the original CS just CS:Source. It's a fun game to a point. My only real complaint with it is that when you die you have to wait for the next round before you can begin playing again.

I don't play it anymore but when I did I had my good days when I would last the whole round (or nearly the whole round) and my days when I would be the first to die. When I play a game I want to PLAY it. Not sit there for however long the round takes to finish and watch other people play it. I like to be in the action. At least when I play other games like BF2 and I die I only have to wait for a few seconds to get back into the action.

CS is an ok game but it's just not for me.

This is the reason I am kind of glad I can't get decent broadband where I live. I'm forced to use bots, who don't (for the most part) cheat. Guaranteed legitimate play.

Though it is obvious once in a while that they can see me through the walls or hills.

To each his (or her) own I say.

If CS:S doesn't tickle your fancy (whatever the hell that means, I think I heard Benny Hill say it once, so it must be cool) no big deal. Some people will never like it, some will never like the games you like. And some people will never like computer games or video games at all (those or the real freaks).

And then there are those D&D weirdos, with the pewter figurines, the 32412342342-sided dice, the odoriferous emanations, and those quest books (some of my high school friends were into that).

I play all types of games (CS:S, HL2DM, FarCry, UT2k4, CoD, BF2, and even RoN). They each have their own appeal and appeal to different degrees to different people. I'll never understand the appeal of WoW or many of the others MMORPGs, but I'm not gonna question them.
