Who wants a motherboard speaker that has distortion, static or beeps off key?there isnt a "best" brand for mobo speakers, they just beep. pick up one that is the size/length you want.

You forgot the opto-isolation diodes and the 20 farad capacitor.Get something that's at least five inches and has a whizzer cone! Use a ground loop isolator and small amplifier (to prevent weird noise like mouse turds getting sucked into a Garrett turbocharger and to make it LOUD enough to hear decent!). And some RGB too! ;-)

I recall right at the end of PC speakers being normal, I had a motherboard that would actually speak words out of the case speaker. I can't recall what it was, may have been an Asus slot A board...They're pretty great.

Edit: that's from my itx am4 build. Wanted to put it in my main PC (uATX), but it has no speaker header.
