What's a good brand of motherboard speaker?

I just bought a new motherboard but it didn't include a mobo speaker. What are the best brands that produce these?

Think adafruit sells one, it's a no-name from some manufacturer that probably makes a large portion of the ones out there, though.

I got this speaker from mouser: SM570450-1
Works fine, but it's not small and you need to solder the wires to it yourself (comes with none).

The best motherboard speakers are wiring up the power LED to the speaker header instead. Unless you're playing old school dos games... but then I don't think you really need a 'best brand' because the speakers were always most generic.

Directron.com has one all wired up, if you don't feel like messing with solder. Just found it today. ;)

Yeah. Sorry, was at work so I was in a rush to finish the post. I see they have a $10 minimum order req, though, so maybe not ideal if that's all you need/want.
Non sense, wire the $10 worth of mobo speakers in series for some serious commander keen action! You’ll be the only one with surround sound motherboard audio!

You could go 'modern' and try one of these instead of the old school paper speaker.
Been years since I've bought a motherboard that still includes them though. I guess I'm old and still install them. I like hearing that reassuring single 'BEEP'
I realize this may not be helpful 2 months after you asked... better late than never?

(not an endorsment of seller, this was just the first thing that popped up on quick search)

Get something that's at least five inches and has a whizzer cone! Use a ground loop isolator and small amplifier (to prevent weird noise like mouse turds getting sucked into a Garrett turbocharger and to make it LOUD enough to hear decent!). And some RGB too! ;-)

You forgot the opto-isolation diodes and the 20 farad capacitor.

This thread made me realize I miss computer beeps.
I'm going to buy one of these.

They're pretty great. ;)

Edit: that's from my itx am4 build. Wanted to put it in my main PC (uATX), but it has no speaker header. :(

I recall right at the end of PC speakers being normal, I had a motherboard that would actually speak words out of the case speaker. I can't recall what it was, may have been an Asus slot A board...
