Hey guys, in your opinion what would the perfect computer company be? That is assuming that we wouldn't build our own computers.

What would make them stand out to you?

You, building your own PCs for your own uses.

No company can ever really do it better if you commit to doing it.

(Sorry, I can't stand making assumptions as the OP said... you know what it means to assume things...) :D

Perfect for us?
Perfect for the company?
Perfect for both us and the company?

there's probably no such thing as a good computer brand for those who are willing to build their own--choices would almost certainly be limited, prices would be higher, etc. etc.

you'd have to offer exotic or other wise unavailable parts (custom maybe), know your shit, and still be somehow cheaper than dell, hp, lenovo, etc...and not signifacantly more spendy than if you were to piece it together yourself.

for more typical folks? i think knowledgeable and upbeat sales and support staff, market average or better prices, and an excellent warranty (policy as well as fulfillment)...perhaps less advertising through trial softwares and that sort of practice. doesn't sound easy.

Thats about as silly as asking "what would be the perfect car company" or "what would be the perfect restaurant".

Different people have different needs.

To the 2nd question it has to be OG (Olive Garden). Normally you would have to pay for a trip to Italy to get this kind of cuisine.

The perfect computer company would be the one that doesn't exist.
