What Video Card?

Currently I have a e4300 (overclocked at 2.4ghz) on a msi p6n diamond. I have a 22'' monitor and my current video card is a 9400gt. I plan on overclocking my cpu higher once I get my new video card, but what is the best performing video card I can get without bottlenecking? Or should I upgrade to a Q6600 first? Oh also my psu is an OCZ GameXStream 700w. Thanks.
 
assume you're playing at 16*10 given your hardware, so 5770

CPU bottlenecking is difficult to guesstimate but as you increase in resolution and graphics quality, the majority of games will become GPU limited. if you crossfire or SLI though (which I doubt you will be), higher end CPUs become an important part of the equation.

I'd upgrade the GPU first, since a 9400 is rather weak. If you're still not satisfied with the performance of your system, then get a Q6600 or whatever higher end LGA775 CPU you want.

I agree with the 5770 recommendation.
 
Yeah with that PSU, don't exceed more than a Q6600 and HD 5770 upgrade.
