ok guys so this time last year i bought an antec 900 at frys because i was gonna build a new computer but the whole idea kind of got pushed back til last month and ive kept the case since then, its brand new in the box. i opened the box but never took the case out. ive been trying to sell it on craigslist but no go. i doubt anyone will buy through the net cause shipping is a killer. the reason im trying to get rid of it is because the power supply i got for my build is not an atx its the antec cp 850 it only fits in a few antec cases. im gonna get an antec 1200 but i need to get rid of this antec 900. i was thinking of selling it to a pawnshop, will they even take it, and how much would they even pay? can someone through me any ideas where i can sell this case.

Honestly, if your craigslist ad is anything like your post.. I would avoid it too. People will not bother with your ad if you can't even type out a few sentences at a 4th grade grammar level.

Wait, I'm the asshole for suggesting that you take a little pride in your grammar? I wasn't trolling you, I was giving you a suggestion to help you sell your case.

The case is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. Keep in mind that it goes on sale a lot for around 50 after rebate.

You might want to lower your price a bit. 70 would be a good price except that it goes on sale often. I got mine from newegg for $60 with free shipping. I can understand your situation. After I finished undergrad last year, I gave away a ton of my stuff because I couldn't sell it, and couldn't afford to ship it back home. I had a nice rosewill case, but had no luck selling it on craigslist before I moved. Cases are hard to sell unless you know someone specifically that is looking for one.

2nded. I stopped reading after about 10 words into your original post because you made it too much of a hassle to finish. I don't want to have to concentrate extra hard to read/comprehend your post.

Too many people up there own arses in this world that can't be bothered to read messy posts, so you will lose some of your audience.
Suggest you remake your ad and structure it better and pictures etcetcetc make it sparkle. If not then try selling here?

You could given the same message without writing an essay if you just used some simple grammar and punctuation in your original post. It takes me more effort to write a message like that than it does to use proper English, grammar, and punctuation. I don't understand how people type out messages like this and get upset when people call them out for writing something so poorly structured. You wouldn't talk like that in real life would you?

Anyways, if you can't sell it for $50 on CL, you could try a pawnshop, but I doubt most places would give you a decent price for it unless there's someone there who knows what it's worth. Alternatively, you could just keep it and use it for a build later on. Even if you can't afford to build a new computer now, you can always buy your parts one at a time over time. That's what I do. This works especially well if you find good deals here and there.

Cool to see peeps trying to get along. Props to everyone for acting like adults.

Regarding your case, I'd recommend trying to move it for $30-50. Ever since the Antec 902 came out, the 900 is frequently on sale from various retailers for ~$70-80 and the 902 for around $80-90. Both often include free shipping. Given that you're not a retailer, your price typically needs to be a helluva lot lower to interest buyers.
Also, definitely post lots of pictures of the case if possible (including the accessories bags/packaging/etc). Good pics, not blurry junk using your phone. People tend to be more trusting if they can actually see items before buying.

You know what, you guys are right. Forgive me, I've had a long day.

A "Sorry" to lloose would also be forthcoming since you did call him an asshole.

But meh, it's the internets.

Anyway, Craigslist ad with good pictures and grammar would probably be your best bet if you really don't want the case and want some cash for it.

Price checks and advice on selling are both off-topic in this forum, as they have absolutely nothing to do with using or modifying your case.
