Hi,

I'm just curious what temps you guys have under load...

Should look something like this:

Stock
CPU : Q6600 G0 stock @ 1.21V (Load reading)
Load temps after at least 30mins. OCCT v.2.0.0a CPU stress : 38-38-34-34C
Idle temps : 29-29-24-24C
Ambient temp : 22C

OC
CPU : Q6600 G0 @ 3901MHz @ 1.59V (Load reading)
Load temps after at least 30mins. OCCT v.2.0.0a CPU stress : 73-73-69-69C
Idle temps : 45-45-40-40C
Ambient temp : 26C
CPU Block : X50
Pump(s) : 2x HPPS plus in parallel
Radiator(s) : 2x BlackICE GTX 240
Fan(s) : 4x Scythe S-Flex @ 1600rpm (sensor reading) Blow

please post your OCCT screenshots if you can.

Edit:
Please don't post your temps with P95/Orthos as they are roughly 10C lower than with OCCT v. 2.0.0a CPU stress... (in my case @ 3966MHz)

Please leave the test running for at least 30 minutes (1 hour would be perfect:)) as larger amounts of cooling liquid take about that long to saturate with heat and stabilize in temperatures.

Also please state the temps of all cores (readings from CoreTemp or OCCT)

Thanks

Once my water cooling has been fully installed i will report back with what type of temps i am getting..

Overclocked rig in the signature yields 30c idle, 45C full-load with prime95 on a thermalright ultra 120 extreme pwnz0rs r0x0r your b0x0r edition #4.8 version sixty four and a half of two thirds.

I don't want to play by your rules, heck, I'm the only one to post details about my temp and you disqualify them..

This thread FTL.

I'm sorry mate! I apologise!

Your results are fine, but they seem to be useless to me... It's a fact that P95 won't heat your CPU up as much as OCCT CPU test...

Please DL OCCT and post your temps :)

Please please please please :)

i have a s939 watercooled system, i can give u temps from that. :p

Plenty, we just do care a whole lot about comparing temps, wth does it matter, it is what it is. (speaking for myself but guessing about the others).

Your quad is not likely to live a long and happy life at 1.59V. (suicide run ? )

It sounds like you have a very nice setup, I would be a lot more interested if you posted some pictures of your construction and layout so I could see how you crammed all that into a case.

not just the voltage...those temps are HIGH!

On a related note - if he's running 1.59V to get 3.9ghz, regardless of the temperature it's bad for the cpu right? ie. even if you're getting wonderfully low temps, a high vcore will cut the chip's life down?

CPU Load temp with OCCT is about 41c (40, 41, 42, 40)... Q6600 3150mhz, 1.05v.

8800GTS Loads at about 43c.

I can get screenies later if you *really* want em, but the desktop is off the internet for the summer (laptop fun for Arcy).

I have Q6600 G0
running water loop with antifreeze and distilled water 50/50
120.3rad cpu only loop
I use ICD7 thermal compound on the cpu and run 100% load 24/7
my core temps are
43-42-41-41c
room temp at time of reading was 26.1c or 79F
