i was searching around and i found something called "dynex silver thermal compund" these are the product specs:
Be kind to your CPU and keep it cool with the added protection of silver-based thermal compound.
5 grams (approx. 0.2 oz.) gray thermal compound in a syringe; spreader card included
Extended temperature limits 0°C to 200°C
9.2428 W/m.C thermal conductivity
i get that its for cooling the cpu, but how the hell does it work? is it permanent or temporary, bleh????????
EDIT
h, yeah, I was also wondering how i can overclock my system. the bios on it is useless for overclocking, plus i have no idea how to overclock, but i have a intel celeron D (prescott tech) running at stock 2.6ghz. i want to get it to at least 3ghz on normal voltage. can i have some help? any guides, programs i can use to overclock through windows rather than the bios?
