I'm not hating or trying to start an argument. I genuinely want to know...
Why is everybody so in love with BFG cards (specifically the 6600gt OC's)?
I would understand if it was mostly because of the lifetime warranty. That's a great feature and definitley a selling point. But people talk all the time about the fact that it's overclocked out of the box like that is the major appeal. This is my problem. The out of the box OC on these cards is nothing spectacular, and just about everyone who has OC'ed cards from different manufacturers has beaten it by a considerable amount. ( http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=849675 ) I can't see how the small performance gain you get from the small stock OC makes this card worth $50 more than any of the others. They all seem to top out in the same general range anyway when OC'ed manually.
Opinions?
