I turned on my computer this morning and it showed this green screen. it kept blinking. I thought it was my gtx 580 matrix but i put in TWO different gtx 460 cyclone and the same thing.

could it be my cpu? I really don't know. I put it into another motherboard and the same thing. Any help would be great. Thanks!
 
Probably the CPU then if it occurred with two different motherboards. Or maybe a crappy PSU if using the same PSU with both motherboards.
 
Thanks for the suggestions guys. Turns out i had a crap DVI cable. The guys over at Anandtech told me to check so I switched it out and now everything is back to normal. Wasted my whole day moving parts around.....
 
I was about to say, I had that exact problem with a bent pin on my DVI cable, I jumped through hoops for days trying to figure it out and only saw it by accident because it was hard to plug the cable in.
