like the title says which do you use?

Myself personally started with Outlook Express then moved to Outlook
ive also briefly flirted with Thunderbird but didnt really like it

what do all of you use?

Outlook Express
Outlook
Thunderbird
Eudora
Webmail?

I used Eurora for a while, many years ago, but then when I got a new computer I tried Outlook Express and I liked it a little bit more, and have used it since. So, on my Windows XP machine I use that, and on my Linux computer I use Evolution, which was what was included with the installation of Ubuntu.

I've used all the ones mentioned, but I currently use Thunderbird for my main account and I have a few webmail accounts out there.

I used OE the longest, but kinda just stopped using it when I started trying out opensource versions of major software (read: Office). I like Thunderbird a lot. Even if it doesn't have native export / backup features, I like the layout and speed. There are a few little things here and there that bug me but, like with OpenOffice, once you get used to them, you don't really notice.

I use Outlook 2003 for work and for my home accounts. It works, manages my info, and is easy to back up and restore. Not to mention the fact it comes with Office, which I would be installingg anyway.

outlook 03, on my main pc, and my laptop

thunderbird on my secondary pc more of a testing

outlook 2003

Thunderbird has a LONG way to go before it can compete in the market,

1. it's rules system is clubsy (compared to MS right click / rule - done)
2. is has basically zero export compatibility to other apps, sure you can import from MS and other apps, but dont expect to get it out to them

ThunderBird :)

Mozilla FTW!!

I love that email client. I have about 5 different email addresses that I use daily for administrating my clients websites and thunderbird allows me to do that using only one window instead of having to log in to 5 web based clients. To send out a message I can click on "new email", type out the message , then click on the drop down menu to designate which account to sent the message from. It's awesome.

^^^ most allmail clients do that...... outlook by default will send from the account to which folder(s) is highlighted.

This way if you respond to an email you dont need to worry about is sending via another account, it will send from the account it was sent to, or you can choose another.

exactly. I would add by default Outlook sends from the account that the user has listed as the default account in the email accounts settings.

Outlook at work, Thunderbird at home.

Thunderbird email DB works with both Windows and Linux installs so on my dual boot machine I can point each install to the same EXT3 volume where the DB exists and all works just fine.

no company says "E-Mail" like good 'ol Ford

Thunderbird at home

Evolution at work

I use Outlook.
I really like the built in Calendar and the spam filter is pretty effective.
Multiple accounts are easy to handle.

M2 (Opera -- having mail right there in the workspace using tabs like any webpage is a killer feature for me) and mutt.

Evolution at home and Squirrelmail (ugh) on the road.

IMAPs is dreamy

I only use webmail now. I don't even download my email anymore.

All about the Outlook 2003 here, home & work, really isn't much to dislike about that program.

I prefer Thunderbird, and use it on my home PC.

I still need Outlook though - for 3rd party connectivity, and because I do freelance tech support (most offices seem to e on the MS bandwagon).

thunderbird w/silver outlook theme at home

exchange/outlook 2k3 at work

Thunderbird for its portability. You can easily just copy over the folder from windows, linux, or mac and it will run as if you always have been running it.
