Well, do you need British Websites?

For future reference...

1 U.S. dollar = 0.508130081 British pounds
1 British pound = 1.96800 U.S. dollars

Dual Core - E8400 or E8500
Quad Core - Q6600 or Q9450

A couple of other suggestions.

Are you going to use SLI, if not get a Intel Chipset.

If you use that Mobo it uses DDR3 and your buying DDR2

Also with all the quality parts, I'm not sure Xion is a quality PSU, try PC Power and Cooling or Corsair

That's a pretty hefty budget...I'd go for the Q9450, which will last you a good while.

Also, I second the Corsair and PCP&C PSUs, or perhaps even a high end Enermax.

At the moment, DDR3 isn't really any (or much) better than DDR2. It sure costs a lot more, though. I'd pretty much go with DDR2, regardless of budget. The money you save can be better spent on other components, where you *will* notice a difference.

Yes the memory will work just fine.

Yes you can run 2 9800GX2 In SLI.

Quick question, what resolution does your monitor run at.

As far as CPU goes, you can't go wrong with the Q6600. DDR3 isn't really worth it at this point, you'll save alot of money by getting DDR2 memory and a different motherboard, such as a 780i. You can use the extra money on graphics cards.
