- Intel Q9300 (or so)

- Corsair 620 or 1000W modular
- 8GB's RAM (Likely Corsair, OCZ, or Patriot)
- 2 NEC Slim DVD burners
- 2 Sata laptop drives
- watercooling ala Tremoloes fine build (similar, but with my own flair)
- stuffed into a Lian Li V350
This will be my main machine, and as you can see from my sig, I tend to keep them for some time. I actually need onboard graphics or a second X4 or greater PCIE (I can add one of my 78GT's or a 68 GS I have) specifically dedicated to a second monitor. I'll be doing lots of graphics and video work, hence the need for the abundance of RAM. I will also need at LEAST 5 SATA ports. Gaming isn't my priority, but when I want to play, I want no problems. DO you guys also suggest a separate sound card? I output via optical to a 5.1 HT system.
Whew! If it helps, I've had good luck with ASUS and DFI, and one build with a Foxconn/EVga. I'll use whatever is reliable, and overclocking is secondary to me.
Whew.
