What are you nerds playing this weekend?

Finished off Far Cry 6 except for the DLC's.
I tried playing them but the roguelike shit fucking killed it for me, and they are all the same formula.
I put 98hrs into it which is the longest I have ever played any Far Cry game. The story was actually not bad at all compared to the other ones.
I was about 3 letters and 4 horns away from 100%, including all weapons and gear in the arsenal including Supremo's, colors and rides.

I decided to play Sniper Elite 5 next which I am digging of course. It seems a little bit more difficult compared to 4 (Sniper Elite Difficultly).
I like the weapon mod table and the controls are better too.
I also like how long the missions are.

Next week/weekend I will try and do Resident Evil Requiem. I will also pick something else from this list, largely games I got years ago or got on Epic for free:

Cronos: The New Dawn
Gotham Knights
Metal Eden
Immortals of Aveum
Vampyr
Theif 2014
Mortal Shell
Middle-Earth - Shadow of Mordor

Any suggestions? Two or so years back I finally watched the LoTR and Hobbit films, so thinking of giving Shadow of Mordor a try. Heard good things about it. Never got around to Theif. Gotham Knights seems to be mixed, assume it is patched up now.

I have most of those games, but I have only played Shadow of Mordor, and to me the combat is like the Arkham Batman trilogy, but with swords, Orcs and finishing moves.
The unique Nemesis system is pretty cool as well, but I only put in around a couple of hours since it bored the shit out of me.

I might give it a go again since it was years ago, plus I have the sequel Shadow of War too.

I quite liked the Mad Max/Batman/WB Games style of fighting. So I assume I might enjoy that.

Ended up enjoying Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 more than I thought I would. Were the previous two games similar?

I loved Batman and Mad Max too, but there was just something about SoM I didn't like.

The first SGW is very primitive feeling and the maps are very small with incredible brutal AI, stealth is a bitch cuz they can see you a mile away through brick walls.

SGW 2 has some really cool shooting dynamics and the game is over all good, just listen to your spotter or companion and don't go off on your own when doing the tutorial missions or you will fail them all.
Follow their instructions to a T.

Death Stranding 2. I don't necessarily even like the game, but it's oddly compelling. It always feels like things are about to get awesome if you get a little bit further...and yet it rarely changes at all. It's actually quite the feat.

Played death stranding 1 last year. Something odd about that game. Indeed it's not my kind of game and the gameplay is not one I like and yet found it compelling enough to finish it. I guess it helps a little being able build your own infrastructure around your transportation job. It's definitely special in its own way. Will probably grab DS2 but not in a rush at the moment.

For now I'm playing chorus, not the best game, but I enjoy the space battles and roaming more than starfield space fights and roaming. Devs cared about what they worked on I think.

I installed Starfield today. Got it from friend's game code he sold me for $20 on Monday. Watched some recent YT videos that tout an improved experience due to updates and DLCs. Looking forward to starting this weekend.

The Division 2 Global Event Assault which was carried over from the first game. Really liking that they did this.
Life is Strange: Reunion.

Got to level 36 on Dark Age of Camelot I hardly play this game. It still way better than Crimson Desert :p
Still active but player crafting is all scalped my original toon is long gone this one is about 3-4 years old.

The Division 2 Year Eight; new season is out.

I came back in there around a month ago. I hadn't played in a couple of years or so. I'm enjoying it. Hopefully I will run into some of you. The clan is still up and running.

Zero Caliber 2 VR, if I have the time. Played it for 5 minutes, seems like an improvement on its predecessor.

I might pick up the first game on Steam for PCVR. The Quest version I got for free, apparently it has extra missions but of course, PCVR looks much better. Was on sale for $5 so will look into grabbing it during the next sale for a 2nd play through.

DCS Sinai map. Impulse bought on sale. Probably should have put the money into another map, apparently half this map is overlapped with the Syria map. And Syria just announced they will expand further south to cover all of Israel.

Cyberpunk and phantom liberty again, but this time with over 300 mods, it's fucking glorious. Feels like playing the 3.0 version of the game. Night City feels alive. Full survival mechanics, the economy really matters (need to earn those eddies to survive), deeper interactions with NPCs, tons of QOL fixes, etc.

Got my Pragmata pre-order in. Will play that and Crimson Desert all weekend.

Circling back to Assassin's Creed Shadows after buying it for 1/2 off during the Holiday season. So far I'd describe it as slow and derivative of other Ninja/Samurai Souls-likes, but the graphics are pretty phenomenal.

I'm mixing things up this weekend.

Primary game will be Horizon: Forbidden West with the goal of getting every Legendary weapon and armor that I use fully upgraded. Have plenty of Brimshine available to achieve the goal. As an aside, the Legendary equipment available in Burning Shores kicks ass even if they are not fully upgraded.

Fallout 4, Skyrim Special Edition, Shadow of the Tomb Rader, maybe some Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.

Starfield is currently incapacitated as it is crashing upon loading existing save or starting a new game. Gotta figure out what the [H]ell happened. Going to wipe the ini files in My Games\Starfield first as I've done a boatload of changes over the course of the current playthrough.

I've been playing through Nioh and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. When I want some multiplayer action I've gone back to Day of Defeat and Battlefield 1.

I want to play Crimson Desert but I just can't stomach the $ 70 price tag.

Quake 3 and UT-2004 with my oldest son (11). It's been very fun introducing him to these games. I'm kind of jealous because when I was his age I didn't have a computer that could run these games, and now our typing computers (eBay Optiplexes with low profile cheap ass quadro cards) just laugh at them.

Also, to quote a co-worker - being young is a super-power. Even if my aim and strategy is superior, my reaction times aren't as quick anymore.

EDIT - and in due time his aim and strategy will eventually match mine. He's already finding secret areas in maps.

Still going through Zero Caliber 2 VR. Overall better than the first game but seems like less missions, but they are longer. Actually not a good thing for VR because fatigue sets in quickly, and there is no pausing which is.. odd. Seems like only a few new guns as well. Had a mission trigger bug once or twice but otherwise quite good.

I want to get to the Starfield DLC next. Once that is done I can free up 142GB of space.

The Division 2 Cherry Blossom event, when it starts working again lol
Another playthrough of Ghost Recon:Wildlands. This GR will always be better than Breakpoint
Life is Strange: Reunion.

I'm pretty sure it'll be playing Crimson Desert for the next 3 months at least.
