Ironic, my girlfriends been wanting one for years and I got her a nice red one at Costco for $240 after rebate plus free mixing bowls, cookbook, year subscription to food and wine and electronic timer. I love Costco :cool:

I want everyone to stop obsessing over politics and realize that everything will be okay so long as we keep love and kindness alive and well. And no, I don't mean the Obama "everything will be provided for you and we're all going to be exactly the same" love; I mean real love: when person A helps person B, not for political or economic gain, but out of a genuine desire for person B's happiness. No political or economic situation can destroy that.
 
Fridays off in 2010. Should be enough to give someone a part-time job while we're at it.

Yeah, that 4.5% unemployment under Bush was absolutely brutal.

I hold myself out as a perfect example of how socialist, anti-capitalist policies destroy lives. During the Bush years, someone graduating from my law school with my grades would have had his choice of law firms paying $160k to start. Under Obama, those jobs have all but completely dried up and I am scraping by after loans. There is almost no chance of moving to a high status firm from a crap firm, so this will affect me for the rest of my life. From a cynical standpoint, I guess I can be happy that our currency will soon be worthless so it will be like paying off my loans in Pesos.

Most young people are even worse off, with statistics showing over 50% of recent college graduates unemployed (an all time high). Most of them are getting what they deserve because they voted for this charlatan, but it's still unfortunate. This recession could have been over already but Obama's policies are directly prolonging it. The media of course pretends there is an economic "recovery," trumpeting supposedly strong GDP growth but then reducing it to a footnote when the numbers are drastically revised down later.
 
Now that you mention it I would like a submachine gun. Or at least a semi auto version.

I'm forced to build my "dream garage" this spring because the money I have saved to do so is being devalued by the second by the fools running the presses in DC.

It won't be what I had in mind but I have to do it now before my savings are turned to worthless paper.

The list of things I'd want for Christmas is frankly fairly long and unrealistic. Here is a sample:

  • Three chicks at the same time
  • Three chicks oil wrestling naked in my house
  • A video camera to film the above events
  • FN SCAR-S
  • FN SCAR-H
  • SL8 -> G36 conversion by HDPS
  • Full auto MP5
  • Full auto AR-15 lower
  • M249 SAW (There are actually a handful of civilian transferable guns)
  • M203 Grenade Launcher
  • A house with at least a 4 car plus garage
  • My own shop with spray booth, lifts, dynojet, and enough manufacturing equipment to fix or make virtually anything automotive related.
  • Enough tools for such a shop
  • 2010 Camaro (Fully loaded, no V6 bullshit)
  • 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT-8
  • 2010 F-450 Super Duty FX4
  • 2010 Corvette ZR1

That's the highlights of my "wish list."
 
I got a Wii with numerous family based games. I also got a nice vertical foregrip for my AR-15 and a tactical flashlight.
