West coast BFBC2 players - where you at? I'm starting this thread to see if any west coast people want to jump on the [H]ard Vent voicechat server and get a few games going on public BF servers.

I'm looking for like-minded social gamers with a more laid back attitute towards the game. If you're a level 50 hardcore clan player that rages at noobs ... look elsewhere. The focus here is more on fun and teamwork.

Post your BFBC2 gamer tag and a little about your play style and we can get some friend-invites going.

As for me:

As mentioned above, I'm a laid-back player with a slower play style that most. I'm in-game a few times per week, usually late night after my kid goes to sleep. Level 18 (I think) and I usually play assault, engineer or medic and switch kits up depending on how my team is outfitted.

cool idea. Hopefully [H] will get their own temporary BFBC2 server before BF3 comes out.

As for me, I'm pretty laid back, but I do like to see a team work together for a goal, instead of being a bystander and contributing to losses. Never used vent before, but I'll check out the client.

I'm in Oregon. Play about 1-2 hours every other day. Usually as assault or medic. Rank 34.

Count me in. Tag: sugosugita. Lvl 29. I'm usually engi or assault. Sign me up for fun, casual gameplay. I enjoy doing sneaky stuff like capping empty flags.
 
tag: Spazm. (with the period), lvl 41. Me and a buddy play fairly often, would be fun to fill up a squad (or two!) and do some real damage.

I typically play on the Reddit Dallas server or with TacticalGaming.com but would enjoy playing with a smaller group that actually talks to each other and uses tactics... I'm usually up to play any weeknight after ~6:30P (PST)
 
i'm in seattle and can only play on seattle based servers(don't ask why because i have no clue, all servers outside of washington lag like hell for me), typically on the (pRc) 24/7 heavy metal conquest server.

gamertag is matteos, don't really play any set time but I basically only play this game at the moment, level 31. Nowadays only play as assault or engineer. Live in L.A.

I'm East Coast Canada, but I'm on TacticalGaming quite a bit, and I hit up whatever server I can find that isn't empty. :)
 
Is there like a way we can start a [H] group on EA online? Or do they not support that? Just curious since it'd be handy to arrange games that way....
 
How about this... Why dont we all just idle in Ventrilo every time we go on to play, and then when someone else logs on we can join a server and squad up?

There is already an [H] steam group...
 
Agreed - idling in Ventrilo is the easiest way to get together. I have only seen a couple people on the Vent server lately and they were both AFK. Hope to see more people jumping on Vent.
 
I would be interested... although would I still be able to play without voice-chat? Not setup for that at the moment.

I am a newbie to BFBC2.. Rank 11 I'm a casual player as well... willing to learn better teamwork strategies and just have some fun.

Aside from joining the Vent server there's not really a group. I added all your EA IDs last night and already got some acceptances....hopefully this weekend we can have a [H] BC2 session...
 
I will try to make it on tonight and maybe Saturday. I still need to send out friend invites.
 
I'm Caster0, I'll add you guys right now, just built a new rig, I'm getting back into PC gaming. I just started out, I'm only rank 2 actually lol. I'm located in LA and I'm on summer break sort of (until after I get my GRE situation situated, then I'll be working part or full time), but for the immediate future I'll be available to play! :)

I have a wide range of play styles that I utilize, depending on the team balance, team-play attitude of my squadmates, and play-styles of my team-mates.

The gun type I use the least is the sniper-rifle...by far. I am just not very good at it and I find it boring. If I am a recon I will use a VSS or SVU or shotgun.

As for assault (my most played class), I am currently using the AUG. I am very aggressive with this gun.

I will go medic if the squad is working together and needs one, and I usually only go engie if I am using vehicles.

As for vehicles, I LOVE to fly attack helos and do so VERY well. When I get a good gunner we can shut down the map.
 
Mine is Weazmeister, oddly enough, and I am on throughout the day.

Usually just dicking around, but if you feel like winning I can make it happen :p
