Been a while…. figured I’d say hello again…

Life kinda kicked me right in the ass, I don’t really want to go into too much detail, but my finances pretty much went straight in the crapper. Managed to have my internet service suspended for a bit, then my main boxen decided to commit suicide, and shortly after that I killed my laptop, which of course is kind of a big deal, but that’s another story.

I’m really sorry about the Community Boxen deal, I suppose I pretty much fucked that whole thing up….. I don’t want to sound like I’m trying to make excuses, but due to our finances I’ve been working about 14 hours a day, and between that and my wife and kids, I just haven’t had the time or the energy to do much of anything else. I’ve been in touch with Evil and hopefully we can get things back on track with that soon…..anyhow, I guess I’m just hoping that I haven’t made anyone too mad over this whole thing, I never intended for any of this to happen….

Enough of that, just thought I’d say hi, hope you guys are all doing well….hopefully we’ll be able to keep our heads above water for a while… would be nice to be able to hang around for a while…

Fold On guys…. oh… and beers and tamales all around!!

Now all we need is for Crazy_Larry to show himself. I miss the bargains he seems to be always posting. I know RL and family can be a "son of a gun" sometimes (PC :p) and it does come before anything. (except maybe for beer and tamales :rolleyes:)

OBTW: Ahh...leSLIe, I've always wondered can you do the "Voodo" thing with just a picture (only kiddin', only kiddin' :p)

It sucks to hear your bad fortune but remember that what matter the most is to take care of your family. I will kick anyone who complaint about your absence or lack of action ;)

It's nice for you to come say hello to your second family. We will always be there for you no matter what and when things get better, you will be welcome with open arms (who can ignore free beer and tamales ??).

Glad to hear from you digital!! I can't imagine anyone would be upset that you didn't have time for the community boxen program since you have been working double shift. Family always first!

 
A couple of rounds of beer and tamales for you, on me. Don't sweat the folding, family comes first. We'll somehow manage to hold of the aussies while you get back on your feet.

I'm still managing about 1500ppd thanks to my borg, and it seems to still be running at 100%, checked Stanford and it's reporting 15 processors, which is right....

Gotta love the reliability of the console client... I haven't even seen any of those boxen is a couple of months...

Hey d_e it's really good to hear you're still kicking (or getting kicked as the case may be)!

As everyone else has said, it's family first and foremost. Then your extended family. We're not going anywhere, we'll be here whenever things turn around for you, and they will. Life has a funny way of getting in ya face at times but you just gotta counter a shit sammich with more bread!! Not to mention, lean on those that care about you. They're always there.

Sunny side up, rubber side down and get back here with them tamales at your EARLIEST opportunity.... 'Till then we'll keep the fire warm, the beer cold and the points flowing. Drop by when you can.
