Just posting to say that I just pulled the trigger on a new build moments ago.
and once again, reading these forums helped out a lot. I had taken a long break from PC desktop use, and my P4 canterwood setup will finally be retired. These forums are always a great help when deciding how and what to build!
When my order from newegg arrives this week, I'll finally be able to use PCI express! lol
Quad core, 8GB of ram, more than 1TB of storage space, and an ATI 4850. (not to mention the bad ass case and corsair PSU). I should be able to run my FEA software, and game too!
Research - complete.
Purchase - complete.
Waiting - begins.
