1. Only 3 more active members. :p
2. We started faster so have done more low value WU's.
3. They have done more high value WU's.

Bottom line is its all about total Thz folding power.
At the moment its summer here and winter there.
So over here people have shut down / slowed down to stop overheating.
Come New Year and the situation will be reversed and we should catch up.

yup summer is upon us, I had to drop my box back to stock, but this being Seattle next month it should be a nice cool shade of grey for the next 9 months :p

In time, lads. We'll need a few more than a few new folders if we want to take our duckie from the Aussies.

right now we're being flat out, out produced... I also suspect that their pile of folders will still out do us, even when the ambients drop.

Do I want to be on teh winning team, yup... but unfortunately... our team isnt. I'm not down on it... it doesnt piss me off. Ultimately.. I'm glad their team is SOOOOOOO huge that they passed us. Just imagine the work they are doing. combined... I bet Vijay has had to hire extra help to keep up.

If you want to stay competetive... I'm all for it. find someone who is near you in points and production and start alittle rivalry. I started some with Ch1m3r4 for kicks. It really makes it more satisifying to do it this way. ( even though right now he is REALLY out producing me )

Since I only have two machines folding right now I don't have to worry about heat too much so I have the one I can actually overclock running flat out.

btw, I got my new mobo & mobile Barton. The new CPU is chewing through work units a hell of a lot faster than my old one. You better get some more production if you are going to catch up to me. :p

Hopefully, I'll have my old mobo & CPU folding again also for a little extra boost to my production. I also picked up an old PIII mobo yesterday that friend was throwing out. Now all I have to do is scrounge up a PIII, some RAM and maybe a hard drive and I could have a bit more going. I need to find a PIII or Celeron to toss in it to see if the damn thing still works or not. I think my friend may have something for me to test on. I'll have to check it out.
 
Somebodies decided to kick it up a notch. Just checked overtake charts at [H]ardfolding and now have 9 teammates poised to pass me. I'm still in the lower 600's, with hundreds of non-producers ahead of me ;) . Newest box getting Tinkers exclusively. My company is upgrading servers, and hopefully, I can get my hands on a few of the Dual 2.4 Xeons, they plan to dump. They're getting all dual opterons, man would I love to have couple of those babies. After the IT's get what they want, rest of the boards will go to silent auction within the company. Any guesses as to relative value of these boards, would be appreciated. Plan to bid on all. Got a chance to take a close look, coupla weeks ago, and all are populated with 4-512MHz sticks of PC2700 DDR.

Less I be remiss, please extend a [H]earty welcome to Perfect_Ace. Another new member from the Divx forums. Any you folks get a chance, join the Divx forums, and check out the rigs Phunky has brought to the team. Look in off topic forums, and you can see me begging for teammates. OS9 support is stopping us from getting another 30 G5's for the team. Anybody in contact with Dr. Pande, please mention this shortcoming.
 
Yeah, I go by SmokeRngs. My output hasn't been too good this week. I've been doing too much game playing lately and then it seems my OS drive went south on me, plus I put my new mobo & CPU in so actual crunching time has been very limited.

I currently have the mobile Barton at 2.5 Ghz stable. I'll probably slowly work the overclock up a bit more after I get used to the BIOS settings on this one and just become more familiar with it overall.

I lost the XP1800+ that I had folding. It was my friend's box. That box is now gone. Hopefully he'll have my old mobo & CPU up and running again soon. I plan on having that working too. Should be good times when I can get everything running right.
 
I just registered On Hard folding, folding for team 33. 2cpu's both at 2.4ghz, my computer has Hyperthreading enabled, I thought I might help you out.

Oh hi again, Got my dual xeon up and running I am running the F@H client on the two processors, 500mhz a piece.

How do I change my cpu count on Hardfolding's website, I have just added two more cpu's to my count?
