WDDM Quadro & GeForce Question

I have a Dell 755 with an x16 slot and an x1 slot. I populated the x1 slot with a NVIDIA Quadro thinking I could have 4 heads with the Intel onboard. However, the new Windows driver model specifies that the VGA adapters must use the same driver... so that is out the window.

I have a GeForce available,anyone know if NVIDIA has a single driver for the 290 Quadro and 9500 GT GeForce? Otherwise I need to purchase a x16 Quadro NVS 290.

Geforce beta drivers support both. You won't get the Quadro benefits from its specialized drivers and the 2 display per card limit may still be in effect. I am not sure but it is worth a try.

177.92 betas have both entries.
NVIDIA_G86.DEV_042F.1 = "NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290"
NVIDIA_G96.DEV_0640.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT"

Thanks for the information. I was thinking about a soft-mod to use the Quadro driver.
