Different OS or is it the CPUs?

Feb 21, 2009 #2 S sirmonkey1985 [H]ard|DCer of the Month - July 2010 Joined Sep 13, 2008 Messages 22,412 its the cpu architecture.. also have to remember its per core not the whole cpu.. phenom's are considered true quad cores(but that can still be argued) so they do better on multi-threaded programs then they do on single threaded programs.. amd x2 be-2350 @ 3.05ghz 512k L2 cache 2992 whetstone 5522 Dhystone amd athlon x2 6400+ 3.2ghz 1mb L2 cache 3228 whetstone 5957 Dhrystone amd athlon 64 3200+(2.0ghz) @ 2.33ghz 1mb L2 cache 2353 whetstone 4347 dhrystone
