Don't count your chickens before they're hatched. You still have a ways to go to get me. If need be I'll get a couple P233's running and upgrade my PII 266's to 333's. And I'll say to hell with it and get the Celeron 633 up and running with a PSU that puts out 15 volts on the 12 volt rail if need be. Then I'll go and take my A7V133 and RAM back from a friend, find a PSU for it and get my old T-Bird 1.33@1.57 running again. :p I have a couple old 300-400 meg hard drives just begging for "anti-fold server". I think I still have an 80 meg hard drive somewhere. It would probably work too. I may not have a dime to my name, so I can't afford to buy anything. But I still have some hardware scattered around in different places. (Now I just have to remember where it all is.) :D

We'll see... You aren't that far away. I should be able to get at least 1 or 2 ~2GHz P4's going soon too. :)

I'll race you to some point value, if you want! :D

If I actually had a chance to keep all the machines I currently have and add what I had mentioned, I would do it in a heartbeat. I still think I'll beat you to 200,000 which is my next checkpoint to celebrate.

I think you'll beat me to 200 too, but not by too much. :)

and what does B7 mean?
and sorry bout your relative AtMo... :(

Sorry, anti-fold takes 128mb for swap, and the rest of the disk for keeping files on. This means you need at least 200mb or so for it. But the 300/400s you have will be plenty.

Bummer. That means that the 120MB drive I have laying around won't work, either. <slouches off to throw it away>

You could use 2 old ones like that, if you have them...

Maybe I should just send mine to Smoke so he can get another box up. :)

There you go! More competition in our would-be-but-isn't-happening race. :D

Actually, I would be more likely to toss that in a DOS box for more old school game storage. :D

I guess you're going to keep up with the competition. I'll have to see about gettin hold of my friend so I can get the T-Bird up and running. I know he isn't using the mobo, but he may be using the RAM. I'll also have to look into getting a PSU since I don't have any reliable ATX ones laying around. I've got a few AT's, though. :D

Ah... old school games. X-Com!!

Sure I'll keep up! If we're going to 200k though, you're definitely going to win, even if you don't add anything else. Thats ok though, I'll try my damndedst!

Watch out SmokeRngs...

I'm on pace to overtake you before 200k now! :D

I've had a bad couple of days with no bigpackets WU's and my fastest borg was down due to a couple of OS reinstalls. If he'd listen to me, he wouldn't have these problems, though.

But I may be moving a Duron 1Ghz to a Duron 1.2 Ghz soon. It's not much but it will help. I'm still working on getting the T-Bird running hopefully. Well, running full time. Right now it's probably not on more than a couple of hours a day.

And as I said, if I get desperate enough, I'll have a Celeron 633 running on a PSU putting 15 volts through the 12 volt rail. Mabye it will be at a default overclock because of that.

Damn, most PSUs undervolt the the 12v rail. you could run 3 machines off that thing.

This PSU and a motherboard were together for a couple of years or so and finally decided they didn't like each other anymore. The 20 pin ATX plug on the PSU is partially melted as was the one on the motherboard. I'm not sure which one caused the problem but I wouldn't trust either one.

I hooked up the PSU to a mobo that I didn't care what happened to it since it was about FUBAR anyway. I got the 15 volt reading on it. Then to test it again I hooked it up to another mobo that I know is good and it read the same thing. I'd love to get the thing running again but I won't trust it to not burn the place down.
