Don't need them on a LanParty board either..............
My ram is just warm to the touch with good air cooling, air flow, air flow air flow.

Erasmus354 said:lol, you dont even need heat spreaders on your ram, much less a fan blowing over it.

I seens the MIPS ones... but they look fugly and restrictive to me.. so I may use a generic cooler from Alphacool.
Mine should be hear in three days!!!!!! I plan to polish the crap out of them.Toonage said:I have a set of the MIPS NB and Mosfet Freezers. You are correct: While not outright fugly IMO, the machining and finish isn't even remotely close to what AC, Polarflow, Innovatek, etc. offer in their products. I may even open up the port passages on the Mosfet block to be less restrictive.
Erasmus354 said:the mips mosfet coolers for the DFI boards are a very poor design. They are made to fit over top of the existing heatsinks on the mosfets rather than removing the heatsinks. This adds another barrier to thermal transference, and imo is kind of awkward anyways. They should have designed something that could be used in place of the existing heatsinks instead of in addition to them.
