Watercooling CPU + NB +2 GPU

Guys, I would like to watercool my CPU, NB and 2 graphic cards.

I'm totally new to watercooling and have no idea if such a thing is possible.

I have Corei7 975 on an Asus Rampage II Extreme with 2 x 285 GTX. All this in a Cooler Master ATCS 840 case (it's huge). Right now everything is on air, but things get pretty hot with some overclocking.

What's the best way to go about it? Get some kind of ready watercooling system? Or buy parts separately?

I would just get a Swiftech 120.4 and add your applicable NB and GPU blocks. One pump is fine.

I suppose you can do it for half price, you and your cheap methods, may be that is not what everyone wants, using 1 pump for 1 single 480 rad with 5 blocks, 1 rad and tons of tubbing and fittings sure it works but i would rather stay with air.

What the heck are you talking about.
CPU = 1 block
2x GPU's = 2 more blocks
nb = 1 block
1 Rad
That's four blocks and one rad. One MCP655 is way more than enough for that... I run THREE rads, with FIVE blocks on one MCP655 and it's fine above 1.5GPM.

It depends on the blocks and rads. The koolance 350 block is pretty restrictive as well as some BI rads in the market. YMMV

Which is why Koolance products are junk. You can't use them in full loops.

You just ate your foot BTW, since my rads are HWLabs BlackIce SR1's. The point is if you have a high complexity system, you go with high flow parts.

Look at the system as a whole, not individual parts. If you take the 'best' parts and toss them all in one loop, your cooling will suck unless you spend a lot on pumping power, and even then you're just dumping a bunch of heat into your loop with extra pumps and would probably have done better in the first place going with high flow parts so you can just use a single pump.

So op didn't specify any particular set up so i suggested two pumps, and you had to come and show off your super duper high flow loop without a pic or parts listed or decent data, but we take your word for it afterall 1.5gpm is all we need. The old BI stuff is very restrictive compared to the new SR series which are overpriced vs the XSPC RX series.

So i ate my foot and so what? i gave a scenario where 1 pump is not enough and you had to give another one that works and belittle the Kolance 350 block, that block is a good block for a CPU only loop it gives decent temps and is only beaten by the HK 3.0 according to the tests, that is why i said YMMV.

We already knew how many things he wanted to cool. Why make it more expensive than it has to be. You can get an enzotech sapphire, which is beaten only by the koolance and HK3, and the koolance's difference was .1C.

Pretty much any time you're going to be cooling more than just your CPU, the sapphire is the best choice...
 
maybe i should skip the motherboard and just cool CPU + 2 GPU (guess would make things easier)

too much hassle with setup and people say that with decent airflow, x58 MBs dont need watercooling
