This game is hard.
I've also lost all of my clothes from combat and was running around naked for some time.

going to leave this here for anyone who starts the game with the wrong builds and doesn't want to start over. Difficulty ramps up and you'll never be able to pass a skill check with the pre-rolled characters that only get 2 skill pts a level, even if you can get by on combat by playing on 'easy'. Everything else is based on skill checks rather than ability, making Charisma and Luck wasted abilities.

Possible spoiler request: what are the NPC specific encounters? I found one for Scotchmo, and another for Rose. Any others?
Some characters get to act multiple times,
before others. Every character should get one turn per turn, with fewer or
greater action points depending on stats.
Many more. Plus, non-character "pets" that follow you around but can't do anything other than that. Some may try to attack, but generally aren't worth the effort, since they are uncontrollable by the player, and just do their own thing.
Is there a way to disarm the traps on safes? I feel like I'm missing something. Not that the 10 points of dmg do anything but it's annoying, lol. Same with mines.
The game has hooked me in. I never played the first Wasteland but this game does capture the original Fallout feel pretty well. The world it projects is even a more dark and barren than Fallout.
Combat is done well, but not perfect. You are always able to see the enemies first and get the jump on them, this hurts the immersion factor. Most enemies are fairly basic as far as AI goes, for instance they won't mix up their attacks and throw a grenade if your clumped together. Friendly fire adds some nice element to the "strategery". Do I want to waste 3 action points for a safe angle or take the risk hitting my ally and be able to take two shots...
The game throws a good assortment of guns, explosives, and melee weapons at you, far more than Fallout. While many don't differentiate themselves too much, its still nice to have a lot. You will want to have a weapon smither (a skill) in your party as weapons can take between 2-4 mods and can significantly improve them.
The game has a ton of non combat skills which seem cool at first but make the game a little more tedious in the long run. For instance there are 3 types of locks (electronic, tumblers, and traditional). There is no crossover between the skills, if you don't have the one required, you'll never have a chance to open it. I would have liked to seen them make the lockpicking skills always count for something, maybe 25% if you have the wrong type. Using these skills is just a matter of waiting 10 seconds to see what the dice rolled. Newer games, like Skyrim, have made lock picking a little interactive minigame of its own, so think they should have went that route.
You might want to wait a couple months for them to patch the bugs, it is far more buggy than Divinity.

Huh, so just started playing this over the weekend. After messing around with some character stats and seeing the effects, is there any good reason not to go like at least 8 Int on every character? Skill points seem like a much more important commodity than just about everything else.
Cha and Luck seem like total dump stats except for Cha on your party leader and Luck on your looter (the lock picking, safe cracking, alarm disarming, computer hacking extraordinaire).
Then basically a balance on the rest of the stats with more of an emphasis on Coordination/Awareness on ranged characters and Strength/Speed on melee characters.
And my boxed copy is here! Yay!
Is there something up with trying to run the game full screen?
FS worked for me. I don't recall if it was a key combo like alt-enter or in the settings, but it's there.
