Crucial C300 256GB SSD - $379.95:

Not sure why it's marked c330, but the manufacturer's part number (CTFDDAC256MAG-1G1) is for a 256GB C300.

There are $15 off coupons floating around for new buy.com accounts. Tack that on and you're at $364.95. Not a screaming deal, but a pretty solid deal on a very fast 34nm flash, synchronous, 256GB drive.

Its interesting how SSDs actually get cheaper per gb the larger the drives. Where as with mechanical drives it is the other way around.

I'm not counting the current 1tb for $50 vs 2tb for $70 since there is a price floor.

Personally I think it's a great deal!

These are great drives that still hold their own against the newer units and will last longer because of the 34nm flash size.

Like many things in life, the price per GB follows a bell curve for mechanical drives.
