At Fry's electronics I just picked up a BFG 8800GTX OC card for $485 after mail in rebate.
 
Oh my.... Why would you pay so much for a card that is basically performance matched by new 8800GTS?

I won't even mention that in couple of months NVIDIA will have new line of cards.

I bought mine for triple SLI. If it weren't for that I wouldn't have bought that either. I would have gone for the new 8800GTS which incidentally I saw at Fry's and it was $359.99 if I recall correctly. I think that isn't a bad price for anyone wanting to pick up one in the store. Most stores are still charging way more than they should.

Yeah tax sucks, but if you want instant gratification it isn't a bad deal.

How's that working out for you? Get Crysis to work right?
