Wanting to Upgrade, PSU Question

The CX430 would be a good choice as its predecessor (the CX400) was (and still is) a good PSU for the money.

As a long-term option, however, it depends on whether he'll be running a quad core and a high-end video card (setup). The CX430 likely won't be enough for a good video card.

I have a Corsair 400w and love it to death, thinking about getting the 430w replacement from Corsair. Thoughts?

The Corsair 430W is probably a good PSU. But my main gripe with it is that it only has 28A on the +12V, lower than the Corsair 400CX's 30A on the +12V rail. As such, I probably won't be recommending that PSU outside of some very very special situations.

My recommendations:
$50 - Antec NEO ECO 400C 400W PSU
$65 - Antec NEO ECO 520C 520W PSU
