Hey all,

So I use the free Hypervisor at home. I've experienced some of the errata where you have poor mouse function over the console, and went looking for update 1a, as this is where the fix is apparently implemented.

I can't download it off of VMWares webpage. Says I don't have permission. (The latest I can get is update 1)

This blog has a method to update the host locally using the terminal. I tried this, but it just fails. Says I can't download the update.

Has anyone succeeded in getting the Hypervisor to update to anything later than Update 1?
 
I updated my HP server to 6.0U1b using the specific HP image.

Is the free version not out yet for U1b? I would think paid and free ESXi would be releases concurrently but I'm not sure.

What mouse errata are you speaking of? Are VMtools installed on all your VMs where you are experiencing this issue?
 
I just updated 2 HP nodes to 6.0Ub1 got rid of a couple of errors. Finally down to zero errors.
